We couldn’t be happier with our daughter’s 11+ tutor, Jamie. He is incredibly reliable, patient, and engaging, and has managed to make our 10-year-old genuinely excited about her sessions and motivated to study. He is thorough in his teaching and always provides regular, constructive feedback, which helps us understand her progress and where to focus next. He’s also very flexible and accommodating, which we really appreciate as busy parents.
What stands out most is how well he connects with children. He knows exactly how to build their confidence and make learning enjoyable. Jamie is a brilliant tutor, highly experienced . Apart from eleven plus which is his niche area he is very good in teaching secondary school subjects as well, when he tutored my elder son for his GCSEs in English to a very high level apart from eleven plus stuff to younger one.
He designs his lessons carefully, stretches and challenges the mind of the kid at the same time without overwhelming or pressurising, making the lesson very interesting and productive for the child.
Gives a measured homework in the end. Also excellent regular feedbacks regarding child’s progress.

Jamie tutored my son in small group sessions prior to his 11+ exam. Jamie quickly established an excellent relationship with my son who enjoyed the weekly lessons and was motivated by Jamie’s teaching style. Jamie is a fantastic 11+ tutor who will help your children improve in both Maths and English. He keeps his sessions small so that each child can learn effectively and receive individual attention. He asks personalised questions to identify the areas they struggle with most and then provides tailored advice and guidance.
